But she has to get away from her 'hot' numbers and prove that is versatile on other areas also.

Sings in 'her' voice, she's just so original.
no dikhawa, no nautanki..no typical ladkiyoun wala latke jhatke..she just a singer when shez on stage..and that how the Idian idol competitor should be.style wile badmein dikhaoo pehele apni aawaz ki worth batao.
The competition is primarily for voice n not style n performance
i dont know whether she will be the next idian idol...but yes if she practises more n more she may, coz there is hell lott of comptn, and ankita is worth becoming the i-idol.

Sitting here in US, I had not much idea about whats going in Indian Television arena. I stumbled upon Ankita's performance (Tu Sirf mera Mehboob) on her elimination day. I really liked it. She was not at all depressed and lost out. I then heard that she was being called back as wild card entrant. This made my interest in this event multi-fold. Her bhajan performance during wild card was outstanding.
I really like Ankita's confidence and never-to-let-go attitude. To be frank,I am learning a lot from her. I even have been posting abt her a bit on my blog.
Even though 3 contestants (Abhishek, Chang and Pooja) are from my hometown Dhanbad, I really hope that Ankita wins.
She might not be the best voice in the crowd but she has the best attitude and thats what an Indian Idol needs.
Ankita do you know those who are afraid to fall, will never fly. Keep your Struggling for winning.
